Multi-pitch climbs

We need to be sure of your level before we engage in a multi-pitch climb together. Any guiding business which tells you any different has no idea what they are talking about. Remember that climbing can be a dangerous sport if not done properly and we pride ourselves in our care for our customers. We want you to have the best experience possible with little time to get to know you. For that we need to spend at least a half day climbing with you on single pitch routes to assure ourselves that you have perfect knowledge or:

- Belaying safely
- Rapeling or Absailing
- Some rope handling techniques
- Some advanced climbing techniques
- No fear of height

Three Day Course

This course will be a custom designed to fit your needs. It will cover such topics as covered in Introduction and Advanced classes as well as:
- Rope handling techniques
- Leading
- Multi-pitch climbing techniques

And answers to all your questions

6000 Bahts with Thai instructor

8000 Bahts with international instructor

Advanced Classes

Depending on your level and ability, we will cover in the course of a day:
- Various belay techniques
- Advances climbing movement
- Rappelling or absailing
- And do a lot of climbing

Advances classes will be modified to accommodate your own needs.

Custom Instruction

Designed for climbers with experience: you tell us what you want to learn and we will design a course together and team you up with the best instructor for you.

We can cover any area from the 3 Day Course, including multi-pitch climbing as long as we get a chance to climb at least a half day together to get an idea of your level.

Our instructors

Cathy Beloeil, founder and manager of Cat’s Climbing School, has been climbing for 17 years and teaching in the US and Thailand for over 10 years.
She was trained in the US, had her own Guiding business in SLC, UT before deciding to move to Thailand and to be involved in trying to reopen the climbing on Phi-Phi island as well as to try to raise the quality level of the instruction available there. She has been working at re-establishing safe climbing on Phi-Phi as well as training a core crew of Thai instructors.

Cathy is also known for her photography published all over the world. Check out her portfolio.

Sanan Changnarm, owner of Cat’s Climbing Shop, trained extensively by Cathy Beloeil to be a safe and educated climber. Climbing has changed his life and he wants to share with beginners what climbing has given him.

Tyt, assistant guide; also trained by Cathy Beloeil will be able to take people climbing on his own as soon as he master the english language enough to teach the basic of Rock Climbing. An amazing climber himself, his dream is to participate in the Asian Games.
