Chulus- Chulu Far East & Chulu West

Two spectacular trekking peaks on the north side of the Annapurnas
North of the Annapurnas, amongst a range of mountains called the Manang Himal, this superb new OM mani trekking peaks expedition will attempt the ascent of Chulu far East and Chulu
 west. Our approach follows the legendary Annapurna circuit for 5 days from Besisahar, tracing the course of the Marsyangdi River, through the Great Himalayan Chain to ogre. Above this village, we will establish a high camp at a Col on the south-west ridge of Chulu Far East, before tackling the straightforward snow-slope climb to the summit at 6059m. Returning to the main valley, we set up a second base camp above the Buddhist village of
Manang, before making the long and more demanding ascent of Chulu west (6250m.) from each of these Peaks there are outstanding Panoramas of the nearby Annapurnas and also views northwards into Tibet. We complete this fantastic adventure by crossing the Throng La (5416m.) to the village of Jomsom in the kaligandaki valley, from where we take the spectacular mountain flight back to Kathmandu.
