Royal Nepal Trekking Region Shivapuri 2002 

The third most popular trekking region in the Kingdom lies directly to the north of Kathmandu Valley is a terrific hilltop retreat. At 2,732m, it is second only to phulchoki in height, but its richness in flora and faun as well as the 30m do certainly not diminish views it offers, it lacks. The area encompasses a protected reserve, which har-bores many rare and endangered animal and bird species. Spread over 1442 sq km, the Shivapuri watershed and Wildlife Reserve is home to the sloth bear, Languor monkey, leopard wildlife pig and barking deer among others. Its rich flora includes orchids, many different National flowers Rhododendrons and a variety of medicinal and herbal plants. To get there, head north from Balaju or Budhanilkantha at the foot of Shivapuri Hill up the well-paved road until you reach the gate of the reserve. From there, you need to hiking up a steep trail passing by the Nagi Gompa, a Buddhist Monastery. Walking along the ridges adorned with fluttering prayer flags and Buddhist stupas and again through the dense wood for about two hours brings you to the summit. It is a large flat area, which makes it an excellent site for those who wish to get a panoramic view of the Himalayan from Shivapuri and chisopani. Day 1 first We well star Royal treks from the Budhanilkantha Nagi Gompa our Sundarijel to walk up the Chisopani Banjing camp overnight traditional Tanmang village. We can see many Himalayan views from chisopani, Langtang Ganesh Himal, Manaslu Himal, Annapurna Himal, Gang Chhenpo etc. Day 2nd we well walk from Nagi Gompa to Shivapur our Chisopani Banjing to Nagarkot overnight camp. We well visit in Nagarkot village and see for the Himalayan views. Day 3th morning we well waycup and take up the coffee tea after that we well walk up to Nagarkot view point Hill. Then we can see all over the Himalayans region from view point Nagarkot Morning sunrises view and evening sunset it’s wonderful feel your. View point Nagarkot Hill we can see the Himalayan man point Name of the Himalayans.Sisapangma Himal, Dorje Lhakpa Himal, Phurbi Chyachu Himal, Choba Bhamare, Cho-o-yu, Gaurishankar Himal, Lindartsubugo Himal, Mt Everest, Chbutse etc. Day 4th we well walk down from Nagarkot to Changu Narayan Temple visit and overnight camp Sankou Bazaar. Day 5th Sankou Bazaar drives to back Kathmandu Hotel.
